Settling in Switzerland, he pioneers development in 3D graphics, sampled-based music, digital photography and computer animation.

As a designer, he creates SNIFE, producing with Wenger a hit collection of beautiful Swiss Army knives with multi-colored handles, one of the world's first products developed with 3D computer graphics.

With Metamorphose, he invents mediacube, the world's first true-colour interactive multimedia touchscreen kiosk, which is premiered at the 25th anniversary of the Montreux Jazz Festival.  At this time he produces a portfolio of the world's first digital fine art giclée prints for IRIS Graphics.

His groundbreaking work brings him to Denmark, where he becomes Director of Research at LEGO. He starts up the advanced research and digital production group Darwin, which grows into a diverse team of 125+ persons. Deeply immersed in virtual reality and trailblazing new technologies in his lab, he continues to hone and develop his solo forms of expression: painting, drawing, writing, composing and photography. A well-known public speaker in Scandinavia, he serves on an advisory board for Apple in Europe.

With the backing of the LEGO Group, he forms The Creativity Corporation, an incubator at the nexus of invention and business. As inventor and entrepreneur, he develops a host of innovative projects, including ToolTribe, the world's first intelligent whiteboard. Interested in reconfiguring social structures, he launches the revolutionary Ideministeriet (The Ministry of Ideas) in Copenhagen. New ideas, from every segment of society, are born and fostered here.

Returning home to Switzerland, Dent-de-Lion publishes his second book IKONMAN with Orell Fussli, the renowned printers of the national currency. The book is premiered via a ‘city walk and read tour’ in Gstaad, with official street signs of each icon, along with a gallery exhibition, and a music video.

Directing a production team on the golf film The Nature of the Game in California, he pursues the idea of crafting an entire film on his own: as director, editor, composer, and cinematographer. He completes the film over the next three years. This is PORTRAIT² - A Work of Art about a Work of Art, a seminal film, a symphonic visual poem without words.

At XEROX Parc he presents Magbook, his revolutionary design for the world’s first human powered solid-state eBook.

During this time in San Francisco, he composes and records the first twelve poems of A Song Cycle of Love and Death. Featuring the words of Poe, Blake, Stevenson and others, the poems are scored for orchestra and lyric soprano. This is a life work, there are new compositions in production.

Returning to his ‘analog’ drawing roots, Dent-de-Lion creates Leonardo, for Art Playing Cards. A tribute to this immortal artist and inventor, Leonardo becomes one of the most backed playing card projects in Kickstarter history. A new edition, Leonardo Masterworks, features a hand-cast solid pewter sculpted stand for the deck, with Leonardo’s warrior horse posed upon a da Vinician inspired landscape.

Frederick Bear - A Tale of Bern, is his third book. Written and illustrated over the course of two and a half years, it's a work of art for children of all ages. The illustrations are among the first works rendered with the Apple pencil in a traditional hand-drawn pen and ink style.

The Noise, an illustrated viral story, is released. With it’s timely message, it’s his most accessible work-to-date.

A neo-romantic work for solo piano is completed and the score made available for performance, his Fantasy for Piano, known as The Silky Butterfly.

His new book is the dystopian meta-novel, The Poisoned Door, scribed by an anonymous author. The work is replete with a publisher’s forward, translator’s notes, and a critical essay from a distinguished scholar.
